Waste Water Treatment Plant in the city of Kropyvnytskyi with a capacity of 33 000,00 m3 per day were reconstructed as part of the Second Urban Infrastructure Development Project with support from the World Bank.

Productivity is 33,000m3/day.

Classical purification scheme using the latest equipment.

Mechanical purification:

  1. Purification of water on channel grates from solid inclusions.

  2. Purification of water from sand in sand traps.

  3. Water settling in primary settling tanks.

Biological purification:

  1. Water purification in biological reactors with internal recycle.

  2. Sludge separation in secondary settling tanks.

  3. Disinfection of purified water with sodium hypochlorite.

  4. Dewatering of excess sludge and raw sediment in centrifuges.

The facility was successfully completed and put into operation in 2024.
