A new construction of the Dnipro Water Treatment Plant in the city of Svitlovodsk is underway with a capacity of over 100 000,00 m3 per day as part of the Second Urban Infrastructure Development Project with support from the World Bank.

The new construction of the Dnipro Water Treatment Plant in the city of Svitlovodsk is underway. This project is a complex of technological facilities for water treatment, with a capacity of over 100 000,00 m3 per day. This complex of water supply facilities provides drinking water to a subscriber pool of over 500 thousand people and households.

The classic water treatment scheme is equipped with the latest technological equipment from world leaders in this industry, such as: Grundfos, ASM, X2Solution, Enexio and Asteknik.

  1. It consists of the following stages:

  2. Mechanical treatment on microfilters.

  3. Physico-chemical treatment.

  4. Settlement in horizontal sedimentation tanks.

  5. Filtration on rapid filters with zeolite loading.

  6. Disinfection.

The technological line is located in one building, equipped with all the necessary accompanying systems. To carry out the technological process, a new power supply system, new external engineering networks, and an automation system covering each element of the equipment have been implemented.
